Alistair Ian Blyth on His career in translation (Romanian)
Alistair Ian Blyth was born in Sunderland, England, and attended the universities of Cambridge and Durham, where he studied English and Latin. He has lived in Romania since 1999. He has translated numerous works of fiction and non-fiction from the Romanian, including works by many of the leading novelists writing in Romania and Moldova today. He is also the author of a novel, Card Catalogue, published by Dalkey Archive Press in 2021.
